Six Sticks ("the App") is a digital board game based on the ancient Chinese game of Liubo, developed by Human NPC Studio ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in relation to the App.
2. Information We Collect
Google Sign-In
We use Google Sign-In to authenticate users. When you sign in, we receive and store the following information from your Google account:
- Display name — shown on your player profile
- Email address — used for account identification
- Profile photo URL — displayed as your avatar in the app
We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or any other Google services beyond basic profile information.
Game Data
We store your game statistics, match history, rating, rank, XP progress, and win/loss records. This data is stored locally on your device and synced to our cloud servers so you can continue where you left off.
Purchase Information
In-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play or the Amazon Appstore. We receive only the order ID, product ID, and purchase token to verify and credit your purchase. We do not collect or store payment details such as credit card numbers.
3. How We Use Information
- To authenticate your identity and maintain your account
- To display your name and photo on your player profile
- To save and restore your game progress, statistics, and match history
- To calculate and display your rating and rank
- To track XP and level progression
- To verify in-app purchases
4. Children's Privacy
This App is designed for use by all ages. For users under 13, parental consent is managed through Google's Family Link service, which controls the Google account used to sign in.
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):
- We only collect information necessary for the app to function
- We do not display targeted or interest-based advertising
- We do not share personal data with third-party advertisers or data brokers
- We do not use personal data for profiling or behavioral tracking
- All in-app purchases go through the store's parental controls
- Children's accounts are managed through their parent's Google/Family Link account
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:

6. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored using Google Firebase infrastructure with industry-standard security measures. Game progress is also stored locally on your device. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption.
7. Data Retention
Your account data (profile information, game statistics, and purchase history) is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
8. Your Rights
You can:
- Sign out of the app at any time from the Profile screen
- Uninstall the app to remove all local data
- Request deletion of all cloud-stored data associated with your account
- Parents can manage their child's account through Google Family Link
9. Account & Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our servers:
- Profile information (display name, email address, profile photo URL)
- Game statistics, match history, rating, and rank data
- XP and level progression
- Purchase and transaction history
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Deletion requests are typically processed within 30 days.
To request account deletion, send an email to support@humannpc.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request - Six Sticks". Please include the email address associated with your account so we can locate your data.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
